Annalisa is magical! Not only is she a wealth of knowledge and expertise, she is kind, thoughtful and attentive to all my ailments. It was my first foray into the world of acupuncture and she gently guided me through the process with exceptional results. Under her capable care, after six sessions, she cured me of a very deep stubborn hip pain. She was persistent and unwavering, as she patiently pinpointed (pun intended!) the pain and miraculously, the intense discomfort evaporated. After meeting with numerous doctors who were unable to help me, to be free of pain felt revitalizing (both physically & mentally) and I'm incredibly grateful to Annalisa. I've been seeing Annalisa for an array of reasons over the past year and the quality of treatment she provides keeps me coming back for more. She really tries to understand the patient's condition and tailors the treatment to suit. She also researches the condition before and during the sessions to ensure the patient receives optimal care. It's really hard to find a health care provider who really wants to get at the root of the problem. Thumbs up for being such a dedicated provider!

Annalisa is an amazing acupuncturist! I went to see her for a Sciatica issue I was having and she truly worked a miracle. I was limping from the pain in my lower back and I was not able to sleep due to the pain. Annalisa did her thing and within the few minutes I felt the pain in my back release. She was very gentle and really got to my pressure points. The next day I woke up feeling sexy and pain free!!! Thank you so much Annalisa! I definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a great acupuncturist.

I came to acupuncture a skeptic - Annalisa defied expectations and has been a great help to me on multiple occasions. As an active runner and crossfitter, soreness and lingering injuries are a constant struggle. Specifically, I felt like my elbow pain was just something I would have to "deal with" for the foreseeable future - not so! Annalisa was a great help. I have gone back for general maintenance and always leave better off than I entered. She is a great listener and is patient and warm. I had no idea how much acupuncture could help (physically and mentally) - Annalisa is one of the best and I suggest everyone see her!

Annalisa is simply great! From the beginning of the process you know you’re in good hands. The preliminary consultation gives you an opportunity to discuss your health issues, what type of treatments she’ll be implementing, as well as any concerns you might have. Her thoroughness and attention to detail throughout the treatment ensures that she is treating the cause and not just the symptoms. I came to her for help with some upper back pain and shoulder mobility issues. To treat the causes she applied both orthopedic acupuncture and other modalities such as cupping and gua sha. After just 5 sessions my upper back pain was gone and my shoulder mobility had vastly improved. I highly recommend Annalisa to anyone who is looking for help with exercise/strength training related pain or to any athlete that wants to remain mobile and injury free.

I am officially a believer in the ancient Chinese healing practice! AB Acupuncture is great. Annalisa is a gifted healer! She helped me heal from De Quervain's tenosynovitis (tendinitis of the wrist) and also lower back pain. She is thorough, gentle, efficient and super knowledgeable. Annalisa is the best! I went to her for a very specific physical ailment I had been dealing with, and she has been really thoughtful and collaborative in coming up with a treatment plan. I had little exposure to acupuncture prior to starting with her, and she set my mind at ease about the whole process. She even took the extra time to refer me to an herbalist colleague of hers who she thought could help as well.I know she does a lot of her work in Brooklyn, but I live in Manhattan and she was extremely flexible about seeing me at her downtown location.Go see Annalisa...she's the cure for what ails you!
